Fruit Development

INN Fruitgrow Foliar - INN Soil - Inn Radimix Soil - INN Aminofix Soil

Fruit development is usually the main target in a crop cycle. Itis one of the phenological stages that requires the most of the agronomical care because of its direct impact on crop profitability. With a look into plant physiology, fruit development involves some different plant organs.

Ergastic substances in the roots and store tissues are used or directly transferred to the fruit.

Leaves and green tissues work constantly to synthesise the carbohydrates that will be moved to the fruit or used for the synthesis of proteins and fats necessary for fruit development.

The roots system, phloem and xylem are in full activity, to bring compounds to fruits and supplying water to organs.

This intense activity involves the plant at full and requires a great amount of energy. For this reason not only nutritional elements but also biostimulation is needed to avoid the plat to suffer for external stresses.

Targeted products

INN Fruitgrow Foliar is advisable by foliar application to guarantee a balanced development of the fruits with dry matter, to achieve a suitable size and weight.

INN Calcium Foliar and INN Calcium Magnesium are advised, alone or in combination, to ensure the right texture to fruit pulp both for defence related strategy and for qualitative characteristics of fruits.

During this phase it is advisable to use a fertigation products, like one of our INN Soil range, in addition to an organic fertigation product, like INN Proton Soil. It is advisable to use a formulation with the highest ratio towards potassium, after checking nitrogen needs, because if this element is in excess it will cause a nutritional imbalance (excessive vegetation and reduced growth of the fruit).
